CAREER POLITICIAN

When is it appropriate for a politician to go back to living life as a regular citizen?

Since Koenig's 1st election to the House of Representatives in 2006, he has only had 3 Republican Primary challengers.

Steven Doan

***Doan's wife, a new mother, was fired from a local distillery owned by Koenig supporters and donors days after Doan announced his candidacy.  Koenig historically recieves massive donations from the bourbon industry.***

ANTI-FEMALE ATHLETICS

Regular Session 2022:

Adam Koenig doesn't want to protect women's sports from biological males/ transgenders.  State Representative Adam Koenig's amendment to House Bill 23 (Save Women's Sports) would remove protections for college  and remove the the enforcement mechanism that would allow impacted female athletes to seek relief.

Great question for constituents to ask Koenig: Why should Kentucky's female college athletes not be protected?

PRO- BIG PHARMA

Does this contribute to Adam Koenig's refusal to stand up to mandates that fire healthcare workers?

PRO-CAR TAX

Here is the language that appeared on the ballot in 1998 when Kentuckians passed the Constitutional Amendment at the polls with 80 percent of voters approving:

"Amends the constitution to permit the General Assembly to exempt motor vehicles and any other class of personal property from the levy of all or any portion of the property tax and to extend the homestead property tax exemption to persons who are classified as totally disabled by any public or private retirement system."

Sources: Koenig is silent on passing HB 304.

ANTI-ACCOUNTABLITY/PRO- GOVERNMENT OVERREACH

Regular Session 2021:

While at least 80,000 Kentuckians were signing petitions to impeach a handful of officers, most notably, Gov. Beshear, Koenig introduced House Bill 378.

The law is clear that a citizen filing for impeachment is responsible for the cost if the effort is unsuccesful.  Koenig admitted not 1 of his constituents had been concerned about this requirement, yet Koenig said he felt this was "good government."

HB 378 would take away the right of citizens to file impeachment papers. Koenig's bill would require that the citizens seek permission from multiple elected officials in order to start proceedings.
